Content is age-tailored to either the Kids (7–11) or Teens/Adults (12+) group, as chosen at signup.

Billing

Subscriptions are billed via Stripe on the billing schedule you choose when you subscribe. By subscribing you confirm that you are at least 18 years old. Physical plans renew monthly, every 6 months, or every 12 months depending on your plan. Digital Only renews monthly.

Cooling-off period

Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you have a 14-day right to cancel from the date you subscribe and receive a full refund, provided we have not yet fulfilled that month's content. For physical plans, fulfilment begins when the printed letter or companion files have been dispatched. For Digital Only, fulfilment begins when the digital letter or companion files have been delivered by email link.

Cancellation

You can cancel at any time by emailing bonjour@lettresdefrance.com or via the Stripe customer portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — you will not be charged again and your subscription will remain active until then. We do not offer refunds for partial months.

Delivery

Physical letters are sent via Royal Mail. We aim to dispatch within the first week of each month or within the 7 days following your subscription. Delivery times vary, but are typically 2–5 working days within the UK and longer for international addresses. Companion files for physical plans are delivered online through the dispatch email and are also available using the QR code printed in the letter. We are not liable for postal delays or items lost in transit, though we will always do our best to help if something goes wrong.

Liability

We provide Lettres de France with reasonable care and skill. Our liability to you is limited to the value of your current monthly subscription fee. We are not liable for any indirect or consequential losses. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or anything else that cannot be excluded by law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
